On 21st June, the signing ceremony of “Hailiang Nonferrous Smart Manufacturing Industrial Park” project was held in Diankou Town, Zhuji. Hailiang Group invested a total of 6.1 billion yuan in building the park with a planned area of 1000 acres. Upon completion, the park is expected to produce 700,000 tons of high-precision cooper tubes, copper rods and high-efficient cooper conductor materials every year with an annual sales revenue of 50 billion yuan. Besides, the park will pay tax 600 million yuan annually and provide jobs for more than 5,500 people. The construction of the park will be implemented in three phases. Such park marks another solid step for Hailiang Group’s corporate vision of becoming “an international giant in nonferrous smart manufacture”.
Liangping Xu, member of the Standing Committee of the Shaoxing Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Zhuji Municipal Party Committee, and other officials from the Party Committee, government, the National People's Congress and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Hailiang Feng, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hailiang Group, Yali Feng, Party Committee Secretary of Hailiang Group, Jianguo Cao, Chairman and President of Hailiang Group and other managers of Hailiang Group all attended the meeting.
Liangping Xu noted in his speech that the signing of the industrial park has significant and far-reaching impact.

The cooperation between Hailiang Group and Zhuji High-Tech Industrial Park of Modern Environmental Protection Equipment is both a combination between enterprise and platform and a gathering of R&D and production. Zhangquan Zhu, Director of the Hailiang Group Board and Chairman and General Manager of Hailiang Stock introduced that the compound growth rate of Hailiang Group's nonferrous materials smart manufacture in the past five years reached 28.8%, the compound growth rate of net profit reached 36.5%. It currently owns a total asset of 17.35 billion yuan, a net asset of 5.405 billion yuan. More than 6,800 employees are working in Hailiang now. Focusing on the development strategy of “nonferrous material smart manufacture 2025”, Hailiang has strategically laid out its own copper processing industry globally and has already established production bases in nine domestic and overseas areas, including Zhejiang, Shanghai, Anhui, Guangdong, Chengdu, Vietnam, Thailand and the United States.
After the signing ceremony of the project was completed, officials of Zhuji Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government led the highest leaders of the bureau to hold an on-site meeting to promote the project, conduct on-site work on the difficulties and problems encountered during the project landing and approval process, and discuss with the representatives of Hailiang Group to find out solutions. The leaders of Zhuji City proposed to do in a limited time, with someone in charge, do it simultaneously, and do it on-site to effectively implement all tasks quickly and ensure that the project starts and completes as early as possible.
