On November 24th, the commendation conference of national model workers and advanced workers of 2020 was held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Xi Jinling, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, president of the People’s Republic of China, as well as chairman of the Central Military Commission, as well as other leaders of the state and the Party attended the conference. The national model workers and advanced workers are selected and commended every 5 years, and they represent the highest honor of China’s labor workers. General secretary Xi Jinping stressed in his speech that socialism is built on endless efforts and the new age comes from constant fighting. Model workers are the elites of the nation, the models of the people and the heroes of the country.
Feng Huanfeng started to work in 1992. He is devoted, hard working and dedicated. Especially since he worked on the technical equipment post of Keyu Company of Hailiang Group (a copper bar production enterprise), he has focused on studying and innovation, tackled various difficulties in technique, and created multiple technological achievements. He applied for nearly 70 invention patents successively, participated in the drafting of nearly 10 national and industry standards, and won 3rd Prize of China Non-ferrous Metal Science and Technology Award, 1st Prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology Award, etc., and became an inevitable talent for the scientific research work of the enterprise and non-ferrous metal processing industry.
Upon progressing ambitiously and burying himself in work, Feng Huanfeng attaches great importance to talent cultivation and imparts his experience and accumulations to others without reservation. He and his team were granted with Excellent Employee, Model Worker, and Project Team with Innovative Management, and many other honors. In 2020, he was granted with the title of Outstanding Craftsman of the 5th Zhejiang “Golden Hammer Award” by Zhejiang Federation of Trade Unions.
Feng Huanfeng expressed that the national model worker title for him is not only a personal honor, but also the honor of all Hailiang people, and it is a heavy responsibility and mission; he will work hard as ever, give full play to the demonstration role of a model worker, lead to carry forward the labor spirits, craftsmanship, model worker spirits in work, guide more people to become craftsmen, and make active contributions for the economic and social progress and development.
Labor is the source of wealth as well as happiness. Model workers are the outstanding representatives of the labors and labor elites in different circles of the society, and the models of all labors. In such a group carrying special memory, there is another model worker in Hailiang Group, and she is the former president and Party secretary Feng Liya of Hailiang Group, who is amiably called as “the 4th aunt”. She won the honorary title of national model worker in 2010 and was one of the few model workers from private enterprises at that time. Feng Huanfeng commended this time is the 2nd national worker model in the history of Hailiang Group as well as the only model worker in Zhuji receiving national commendation at this time.
