In June 2023, the Anhui base experienced a natural disaster, and the smelting furnace urgently needed recovery to sustain production. Chen Shengli volunteered to lead two coworkers to inspect faults, perform gas cutting, welding, machining, and pipeline maintenance. Despite the scorching heat and their work clothes drenched in sweat, their enthusiasm remained undiminished, and their determination unwavering.
The successful commissioning of the fifth-generation production line also owes much to Chen Shengli's hard work. During the dismantling of the old line, the cable-pulling machine was heavy and the plates were large, even external assistance was of no use. Chen Shengli took the initiative to lead the team and completed the task brilliantly in just 15 days, saving the company thousands yuan in costs.
While his main expertise lies in the junker and vertical furnaces, he still finds time to participate in the commissioning and installation of rolling mills and forming machines, solving complex issues for his equipment colleagues.
